I had to change it to x or x standard and formats and then the audio started working fine. I’m bit confused on how the audio is going throught the cable? Alternatively, 3rd party programs such as fubar and Media Player Classic work just fine. Turns out the problem was that the resolution on my PC was at x Cybrnook Dec 1, Dynaudio Xeo 4, TV: Do you have to run 2 hdmi’s out of the card 1 for video and 1 for audio or will 1 hdmi out from the card carry both video and audio.
I have created and setup multiple lossless and lossy video but, from what I have read over the last months, if the receiver cannot decode the audio it will not pass it along with the HDMI video signal.

The has an hdmi slot on it, so I was able to hook it directly to my tv and audio was working and dadeon. No registered users and 0 guests. AVS is a place where you go to learn to be unhappy.
