When I restarted the laptop, the WiFi device was detected and installed and ecntrinor it works but I noticed a curious thing and is that in the device manager both the WiFi adapter and the bluetooth are marked with a 2 at the end of the description. Ibtelr driver is for Windows 8, it will work on Windows I could not perform the procedure as you indicated because the WiFi device is not detected by the system.
