But if you don’t need anything special and want to save some money, it’s decent enough. The Obey 10 is absolutely lightjocket bottom of the line Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad controller, just cheaply made in my opinion.
As I said in my first post I’m not looking to really do much just get some and refresh my experience in DMX. I don’t believe so.
Posted 07 November – But I have used showxpress and it is pretty awesome for the price. How long have you use it? Cot software, I’m in a testing phase with Freestyle. It then comes down to your insurance.
lihhtjockey Also I cant say much for enttec because I haven’t used it before. I chose the Pro version of this interface for its electrical isolation between DMX and not tested.
I have no idea how the martin dongles work, but I am pretty sure with wysyiwyg if you can prove you are the dongle owner, if there is a theft and police record you can get yourself a replacement without paying full whack?? What thing do you like most and least?
Some insurance companies may cover you as a part of your household insurance. The software is great, and from what I’ve seen of LJ, it has all the features and more. ShowXpress now works with Mac. I think he is talking about ShowXpress Yes, made by Chauvet, correct? The software option is also a nice route with the right software but the dongle is the part pightjockey costs the most depending on lightjockdy one you get like mentioned above and it all really just depends on your needs.
Or am I just wasting my time with a cheap controller?
I have used some extreme controllers before grandMA2 compared to the Obey10 but I have forgotten much about DMX lghtjockey then and just would like to have something to refresh my mind and for fun. Community Forum Software by IP.

Or am I wrong? What Don is saying maybe correct but from my understanding of your lighgjockey your looking for a controller and not a visualiser. Not the Xpress dongle.
